Protein Staining Solution Enhances Electro-Elution Efficiency

Qbiogene has introduced a new staining solution that significantly enhances protein recovery from 1-D polyacrylamide gels. Developed specifically for electro-elution, Electro-Blue™ Staining Solution provides optimal protein staining with minimal protein fixation in the gel matrix. It is particularly effective when used in conjunction with ProteoPLUS™ Gel Electro-Elution and Dialysis System for protein recovery.

In addition to minimizing the fixation effect, Electro-Blue stained gels are easily washed with water alone. It does not require the multi-solution washing steps common with other gel staining procedures. As a result, staining sensitivity is enhanced and the background remains clear. Electro-Blue Staining Solution is available in a convenient 500 ml bottle, which stains approximately 20 mini gels.
