Nucleic Acids and Proteins for Purification in Under 40 Seconds
Qbiogene has introduced a new, improved model of the popular BIO 101® Systems FastPrep® Instrument. Designed to lyse any sample in 40 seconds or less, the FastPrep® Instrument eliminates the inconsistencies, time, and frustration involved with traditional cell disruption methods. As a result, researchers and lab technicians can lyse cell and tissue samples quickly and with minimal nucleic acid shearing or protein denaturing. Even difficult and uncharacterized samples are easily lysed with the FastPrep® Instrument.
A completely self-contained system, the FastPrep® Instrument eliminates the mess, risk of cross-contamination, and time-consuming clean-up associated with manual nucleic acid and protein lysis. The user simply adds sample to a tube of lysing matrix, places the tube in the FastPrep® Instrument, and starts the unit. The patented multi-directional pulverizer has the cell or tissue samples ready for isolation in under a minute.
The new BIO 101® Systems FastPrep® Instruments have been redesigned for both ease of use and reliable, high-throughput operation. Models are available for 100, 120, or 220 VAC operation.
