New FastRNA^® Pro Kits Purify RNA from
Plant, Animal, and Bacterial Samples Quickly and Consistently

Qbiogene has introduced three new kits for isolating intact RNA from plant, animal, and bacterial samples. Developed for use with its popular BIO 101^® Systems FastPrep^® Instrument, FastRNA^® Pro Kits save researchers hours of work during sample preparation and provide higher RNA yields than traditional homogenization techniques. The system also eliminates the potential for cross-contamination.

The three new RNA isolation kits include FastRNA Pro Blue for purifying total RNA from gram positive and gram negative bacteria; FastRNA Pro Red for isolating yeast and fungal RNA; and FastRNA Pro Green for isolating RNA from plant and animal samples. The researcher simply adds the sample and new RNApro™ Solution to a 2 mL closed tube containing the appropriate matrix, and processes it with the FastPrep Instrument for approximately 40 seconds. The RNA is then purified and isolated by chloroform extraction and ethanol precipitation.
