BIO-NOBILE QuickPick Isolation/Purification Kits and PickPen® Magnetic Tools for the magnetic separation of genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, mRNA, and proteins are now available from Qbiogene. Designed to bind the substance of interest to magnetic or paramagnetic particles, the BIO-NOBILE system permits the direct transfer of the magnetically-bound constituents directly from liquid to liquid, without the use of difficult and time-consuming separation procedures. Sample processing is fast, gentle, and straightforward. There are no external magnetic racks, spin traps, centrifugations, or organic extractions required.
QuickPick kits are available for the purification of poly (A) mRNA from cultured cells, animal and plant tissues, and total RNA; genomic DNA from human blood, leukocytes, buffy coat, and cultured cells; genomic plant DNA; and plasmid DNA as well as purification of histidine-tagged proteins and fractionation of proteins. PickPen magnetic tools are available for both single sample and 8-sample parallel processing and can be used with microcentrifuge tubes, U- and V-bottom 96-well plates, 8-wells strips, PCR tubes, and other types of vessels.
