Construction of a Recombinant Adenovirus
Description
Recombinant adenoviruses are produced by in vivo homologous
or transpositional recombination.

Time Required: 2 months
Includes:
- Starting with a recombinant adenovirus transfer vector, E.
coli or QBI-HEK293A cells will be transformed to yield recombinant
adenoviral DNA.
- Generation of recombinant adenovirus by transfecting QBI-HEK
293A cells with recombinant viral DNA.
- Plaque purification and identification of the recombinant adenovirus
by PCR or Western blot. If no amplicifcation is requested, eluted
plaques are delivered to the client.
