Recombinant Adenovirus Purification by Double Cesium Chloride (CsCl) Gradient

Description
Amplified viral stocks are purified by CsCl banding. The purification process:

1. Removes all defective particles and condition media containing undesired contaminants from the preparation
2. Concentrates the virus to high levels
3. Allows for suspension of the virus in a buffer better suited for later use and long-term storage

Service No. ACS0040 Purification of up to 1 liter of culture
ACS0045 Purification for each additional liter of culture
Time Required: 1 week

Includes:

• Purification on a CsCl step gradient followed by a continuous CsCl gradient.
• Dialysis of viral stock against desired buffer and aliquoting of samples.
