CpGenome™ DNA Modification Kit
The CpGenome™ Modification Kit contains reagents required
to perform a bisulfite modification on a DNA sample. In the
reaction all unmethylated cytosines are deaminated and converted
to uracils, while 5-CH3-Cytosines remain unaltered.
The sequence of the treated DNA will differ if the DNA is originally
methylated versus unmethylated. Specific primers can
be designed to amplify each of the sequences based upon these
chemically-induced differences or the modified DNA can be
sequenced.
Note: Sufficient DNA can be recovered to perform MSP on as
little as 0.002 µg of DNA.
Technical Information
Pack Size: Sufficient reagents are provided to perform 100 bisulfite reactions (1 µg of
DNA each*).

CpGenome™ Universal Methylated DNA
CpGenome™ Universal Methylated DNA is enzymatically
methylated human male genomic DNA. This product is
intended for use with the CpGenome™ DNA Modification Kit
(S7820-KIT) or with amplification primers. It can be used as a
methylation-positive control for gene methylation studies.
Each vial contains 10 micrograms (100 µl) of human genomic
DNA at a concentration of 0.1 µg/µl.
