 Nucleic
acid precipitation using classic ethanol and isopropanol protocols can
often be time consuming with the risk of unsatisfactory yields, particularly
when working with very dilute solutions. The Precipitator™
kit provides a rapid and reliable alternative. This novel method ensures
good recoveries from dilute solutions (as little as 0.1 ng DNA per µl)
and is well adapted for small fragments, even permitting efficient precipitation
of single strand 12 mers. Furthermore, the time required for pellet-drying
and recovery is reduced to a few minutes.

Handling
Precipitation
with Precipitator™ must be performed in classical microtubes
and tips (polyethylene, polypropylene), glass or Teflon materials. Avoid
polycarbonate, polyvinyl, ethylene, polysulfone and polystyrene materials.
