Direct Labeled Satellite FISH Probes
Cocktail Satellite FISH Probes
- Chromosome 3, 7 & 17
- Chromosome 7 & 8
- Chromosome X & Y
Qbiogene’s range of Satellite Combination Probes consists of
sets of highly repetitive satellite DNA sequences located at the
centromere of the individual specific chromosome. Each of
these cocktail probes are formatted in combinations specific
for abnormalities common to haematology and pathology
research.
All Satellite Combination Probes have been qualified on regular
metaphase/interphase preparations, direct blood smears
and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
Hybridizations with these Satellite probes allow analysis of
direct blood smear samples after only 2 hours. These
Combination Probes are intended to allow a fast screening of
specimens with suspected chromosomal aberrations in a variety
of Leukemias and Lymphomas.
Microscopy filter recommendations
Green fluorochrome is FITC–excitation 495 nm, emission 520
nm. Red fluorochrome is Rhodamine–excitation 565 nm,
emission 590 nm. Aqua fluorochrome is DEAC-excitation 429
nm, emission 476 nm. For optimal visualization use specific
single band pass filter sets. For co-localization, use multi-band
pass filter sets (available through Qbiogene).
