Purification of fragmented or damaged DNA from aged or preserved samples

This kit is designed for isolation of up to 20 µg DNA from bone, preserved tissue, soil organisms, and animal by-products. Special attention has been paid to the production of the reagents of this kit in order to minimize the possibility of contamination by contemporary DNA of extraneous sources. All solutions are prepared from ultrapure reagents and dispensed in a dedicated laminar flow hood. No PCR template can be
detected with probes to non-human genes. Since traces of human DNA can be detected by multiple, high-cycle PCR, this kit is not certified to be free of all DNA traces and it is recommended that proper controls are used.
