This Mini-Oven takes only 0.2m² of bench top space yet holds up to 24 small bottles (15 x 30cm), 12 large standard bottles (30 x 3.5cm) or 8 large diameter (7cm) bottles. The system is very well insulated to prevent noise and heat pollution. A platinum temperature sensor gives set temperature precision of 0.1°C. A dual safety thermostat is incorporated for extra safety.

High capacity rotor design

The unique rotor design minimizes the volume needed to obtain maximum membrane-buffer contact per ml of hybridization buffer used. The high capacity of the 3.5cm rotor enables either 12 large bottles (30 x 3.5cm) or 24 small bottles (15 x 3.5cm) to be processed simultaneously.

Hybridization Bottles designed for security and ease of use

Made from borosilicate glass these straight-necked bottles facilitate membrane access. The heat-resistant caps are fitted with leak-proof teflon-coated rubber seals, resistant to PEG.

We have recently introduced another rotor system which holds 150 screw cap "Nunc type" tubes (1.8ml or 4.5ml in the same rotor). This rotor also has a special bidirectional washing action to ensure low background.
