The Agrobacterium Transformation Kit provides a single transformation solution with which A. rhizogenes or A. tumefaciens can be transformed with plasmid DNA using either a freeze/thaw or electroporation method. Optimized Agrobacterium Medium and Agar are also included, along with Roll & Grow^® Plating Beads for easy spreading of transformed cells. Once media preparation is complete, this easy transformation procedure takes less than 45 minutes with minimal hands-on time.
